FUCK YES, A BILLION TIMES YES
13 mins long and already soooo much better than that crap evolutions
Holy shit that was amazing
Holy Dende this was dope! (unlike anything at all about DBE)
Not bad. I'd totally buy a season just to check it out.
Wow that 17 fucking nailed it!
Damn that shit was amazing.
Watched it before bed:
- The fight scenes are done well; not much martial arts bullshit to be seen
- I always keep omitting the fact that Gohan has been fighting the Androids for 13 years. In my mind I keep thinking how the heck does he get away at each encounter, but nevermind.
- The Androids never find them despite the training for Gohan/Trunks (in anime and here) involves them powering up and throwing energy beams into the horizon lol. Dunno if we could conclude this as a fact that the Androids have no intention of hunting the duo out to kill as Goku is already dead. Each time Gohan and the Androids clash it's always Gohan that picks the fight hahaha
- Bulma's appearance was a surprise to me. They captured her rather nicely with the cap and the aged look
The youtube comment train is hilarious as usual, especially for anything DBZ related. This got a chuckle out of me:
Some people completely missed the point I almost constantly question if the people that commented actually watched the anime/special lolGaius Mugenus Silverus

Great short. Gohan actor sucks balls, but the rest of the short was fantastic.
I was pretty sure Gohan had already lost his arm at that point also. Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me.
Perfect 17. Absolutely perfect.
"Where's the fun in that?" was done flawlessly.
meh, just goes to prove why RL adaptions of animes are a no no. 0 way a RL movie of DB could ever even come close to an animated one. It was a good attempt, but the best attempt is still not going to be as good as if it were just done in anime style.
And we have those already. A new movie is coming out now.
Why not have both?
Not saying you can't have both(though I'd rather just have 2 animated movies than one of each). Just saying I personally don't find it impressive in any way shape or form. Of course it's miles better than evolution, but that's not saying much since evolution was complete shit. I watched it for free and still wanted a refund.
Maybe if they had an actual hollywood budget, maybe they could do something with it, but if the movie is going to be anything like that youtube video, would maybe pirate on a bored weekend, but definitely not worth a cent of money
A fair opinion, but mine is that only about 3% of movies that have come out in the last 30 years were worth a cent of money in the theatres. This was cool based on what it was; a bunch of people actually passionate about the product putting on a pretty good show. Fuck Hollywood touching it; any touch would be a butchering, but it'd be nice if one of the actual cool cats in Hollywood funded a small team like this to making something impressive.
IMO Passion >> Budget. When you can fuse the two, you get something actually very good. A shame that usually doesn't work out.
He's probably just buried in the destroyed lab and they never woke him up. I mean, he's 16 so he was built before them.
