I read the LNs. :3 Only watching the second season now lol. I'm going to go ahead and claim that DxD has the bestest story for something so ecchi. Good enough that it'd be fine even without any ecchi, but thank god that it does have it.

I was hoping I'd get to see Volume 10 animated, as that's got some of my most favorite favorite fights. It will be epic when we eventually get to it. But unfortunately I didn't realize how they were pacing everything. After six episodes of season two they've finally covered the first three volumes.

So many glorious antics that I want to see animated.

I think in this season we'll be able to see the Juggernaut Drive, Breast Dragon Emperor + Switch Princess shenanigans? I really hope so.

Haven't seen it mentioned but Nagato Yuki-chan no Shoushitsu is out, even tho the animation is noticeably different, different studio of course, I'm so glad all the VAs are reprising their roles

At least I haven't seen the OP in a long time, probably my favourite, next to the third one.

Edit: Seeing how the next episode will focus on the game against Inashiro, I really wonder if they'll be able to recap it in a single episode; I've got a bad feeling about this season's start.

Surprisingly charming. It'll be interesting to see where they drive the story. There's a bit of an obvious pathway but for some reason I get this gut feeling that it'll go in a different direction. And it seems to really be based around the music... at least the first episode was, so I'm hoping it won't be as Slice-of-Life'y as K-On was (I strongly disliked K-On >_>)

Looking at the list of Kyoto Animation animes, it's kind of surprising how many good ones they've made in the last few years

Ore Monogatari Ep. 1

The first episode sets this up as some kinda cliche rom-com love triangle. DON'T BE FOOLED!!! It doesn't go in this direction at all. The series honestly just gets better and more hilarious as it goes on. I dunno if it'll get there by the end of the next episode or not, but it'll get there eventually. This is all just setup for the time being.
