It's Forest Whitaker
A whole season building up to getting Maul and Kenobi on the same planet and that's all we get?
There was a point to be made. It's a really well done scene. They shouldn't have promoted it the way they did because it distracts from the purpose of what happened during their final encounter.
That was a perfect battle. Short yes, but executed very well. It showed how much Kenobi has learned/changed while being a hermit; he switched from his aggressive stance to a more calm one, he knew Maul would go for the head attack like he did with Qui-Gon and countered it easily showing how more advanced he is. Plus it's much more accurate to a real samurai fight where it ends with just a few strokes. Would have been cool of course to see more flair, but Kenobi is old and they need to bring him closer to how he battled Vader in Ep4. Also, Maul has gotten older, and he's probably tired from wandering so much.
All that build up and this all we get?
http://io9.gizmodo.com/the-producer-...ble-1793376931The Star Wars canon changed forever Saturday night with the latest episode of Star Wars Rebels, “Twin Suns.” It was a massive episode in terms of character, Star Wars history, and precedent. So we simply had to talk to Dave Filoni, the executive producer of Rebels
This show has been everything I wanted and this season has delivered. Much excite!
If I am not mistaken, there's 2 more seasons planned. Hopefully we get a glimpse at what happens with Phoenix Squadron as their stories told up to Rogue One events.
A fan in me wants to see their stories told past ANH all the way up to ROTJ. It would be an interesting story arc dealing with a group of heroes other than the main characters of Skywalker Saga. Hell, I hope it gets even darker as the show progresses. Then again it's Disney cartoon.
Season finale aired

I think that's because compared to last season's Vader v Ahsoka showdown, which was much more hyped up, Kenobi v Maul was swift and then they moved onto rebellion's struggle. Which is fine imo because that's what the show is about. I think the Jedi side-story with Kanan and Ezra is taking a backseat.
Season 4 will be the final season
But, have a trailer:
I really hope he's not dedicating all his time to this Forces of Destiny stuff...
But if not, I'm guessing the new series will be post-ROTJ
Oh, and also regarding Ahsoka:
Spoiler: show
They really do need to start doing something to fill in those 30 years between trilogies for the EU. One comic mini-series and a mediocre trilogy of novels that had very little focus on characters people actually cared about are all they've really done so far.
As for that spoiler, a new old EU Legends character coming, and a potential survivor of the show

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I am sad that the series ending.
What if we get a KOTOR series? Something related to the Old Republic era is going to happen; there's just too much there
Bioware is supposedly working on something along those lines to reestablish it as canon

It's nice to see SW:TOR lightsabers being made canon.
