Would be nice if they pick up into ONE as well since it's further ahead. Would love for them to do more with Garo in the anime than we've seen in the new version of the manga.

The new version is an expansion of the original. It's moving towards Garo while making all the other characters far more rich than the original did. I have to dig a bit but there is an interview where it said the only reason we have this "new" version is because ONE announced he was going to quit and the current artist teamed up to keep it going. I'm completely up to date on the original but it does lack depth with the other characters that this new version brings to the table.

Well, no clue how they're going to do the manga with the current release cycle as it's pretty damn slow. I would actually be ok with a Game of Thrones or Walking Dead release cycle, but no idea if Japan can pull that off in the anime world.

I think someone already posted this exact same thing I'm about to say in this thread, but I really can't think of another show that lived up to the hype anywhere as near as well as this one has. Next week can't come soon enough
