Also, I read random bits of the webcomics way back when they came up in this thread, and thank God I stopped at the beginning of the psychic fight we saw just now cause i dont want to be spoiled on how this development ends.

Finally read the chapter, god fucking damn.
Holy shit is that spoiler true Gulkeeva? I shouldn't have read that lol, didn't read the previous web comments.
I have no idea how the giant monster boss plays into the story, but I do know Garo goes through a couple more transformations fighting Saitama as he moves into his Demon God form.
Ep 3
Pacing is as whack as ever. Also the tension with Garo is real high in the anime. In the manga I always considered it nothing more than a joke. He shows his nice side with the kid though, I thought that came out quite well.
Animation got marginally better.
Not much Fubuki though -- I recall there being more scenes of everyone in Saitama's place, but I think that might be just manga filler/extras.
There was a filler chapter that they skipped, it was about Fubuki and her minions buying a car
Spoiler: show

Here's the ch. if you wanted
My favorite filler chapter was the one with king in the diner with the assassins he thinks are fans. God that chapter was on point haha.

Do people care for the original web comic at all? Or only the Murata re-draws?
Anyway, new web comic chapter from One just in case. https://mangadex.org/chapter/597494/1
S2 Ep4
Pacing is ok but it looks like they're really dragging this out.
Think we won't get more Fubuki though
Should be getting a chapter any day now right :<????? Been too hyped for next chapter.
I've been checking every day like a drug addict as well...
They've been giving us double chapters a month for a short while now. We're "due" one soon, but they could justifiably wait another week or two and wed have no grounds to bitch =(.

Man, the OPM anime has taken a nose dive. So sad. At this point, the change in animation doesn't bother me as much as the sorry quality of the production. The episodes feel rushed and the dramatic and comedic timing isn't given proper due. The difference between Saitama's serious self and his usual apathetic self lacks meaningful distinction so the character comes across as not caring even when it's a scene where he gives a shit (and it feels like this for practically everyone in the show). There's no tension even in the larger storyline. The story is expanding to involve a whole world of characters but because of the poor distinction between the hero's emotional states in this season, it feels like everyone is just robotic, going through the motions. As a viewer, it completely disconnects me from the outcomes. What a waste.
