Nevermind we've been fighting this exact same fight, might even be the exact same day, for...2 years now? More? Shit, the anime restarted and they're already covering the beginning to the arc we are currently on. The decision to add some of these characters and fights, and how they pace it all, is questionable. If they only have good content to cover a shorter manga/anime, then make the fucking shorter series lol. No one wants 60% good shit 40% lame shit.

The others heros are fine, and we 100% need them because watching them struggle is what makes it fun when Saitama comes in and one punches. That said, this manga is supposed to be about Saitama, and we have barely seen him in the past year, the arc is for sure moving too slow.

The trio samurai are kind of weak for sure, but I’ve had fun with characters like Flashy Flash, Child Emperor, and Zombie Man.

I liked flashy flash cause I wasnt already annoyed with all these lame extras, but if that fight happened now I'd be just as eye rolly. Zombie man is still going on afaik, and child emperor was pretty neat and different from everything we've seen til now. Phoenix man was a pretty interesting villain though, the other baddies haven't really been as consistently good though.

The whole point is the parade of side characters.
It's literally a parody of what it would become were it to feature Saitama.
Samurai trio are just dull side characters.

I'm fine with them being featured and shown off here and there. Like, against Boros and the aliens was a great amount, just enough to show us what it means to be an S rank hero without dragging the arc on.

But this arc has just felt so goddamn sluggish. Each S rank getting a big fight and multiple chapters and blah blah, boring scrubs fighting scrubs for a fucking eternity, it feels like, is just terrible.

I don't remember the source material (One's original web comic) having nearly this much focus on the rest of the heroes. Like with the Alien invasion, enough moments to establish S Rank power scale but not the full excessiveness
