You keep posting that vid. Is that like your fav episode or something? I liked to watch Kill Switch when ever it was on.

This mini-season is a perfect example of all types of episodes X-Files had as a series. It's almost retrospective. We had Conspiracy episode, Monster of the Week episode, comedic episode, Introspective main character focused episode, next episode is supernatural oriented and closing it off is again a Conspiracy episode. If my memory serves me right, those were pretty much the basic formulas of X-Files as a series, with some episode types being shown more often than others. Personally, I have enjoyed this mini-season, despite having reservations. It would be a nice closure to the series, even if they choose not to go ahead with more seasons or even a movie.
Ive enjoyed this mini series more then any X-Files I've seen past season 3.
Like it hit some high notes occasionally, but so much of it dropped towards the end. This was great even if I was of the opinion that the show probably aired a few years too long.
I totally forgot about Tim Armstrong being in X Files. I thought he did pretty good.
That video makes me feel old.
New Scully and Mulder are interesting. I don't know how that terrorist survived that explosion tho. Also that vid Mulder was watching in the beginning with Scully is pretty freaky stuff. I actually heard it myself once. I couldn't explain it. Here's a vid
lol @ Mulder
The lone gunmen cameo looooool
Mulder was fucking tripping balls. I thoroughly enjoyed that. The Mulder/Scully wannabes though, not so much. I hope Chris Carter isn't thinking of rebooting the series with these newcomers. They simply don't compare.
The actor and actress playing Miller and Einstein were only contracted for one episode according to the internet. They also, to me, didn't have amazing chemistry between the two of them. I don't expect Duchovny + Anderson 2.0 with any reboot attempt without them, but something on the lines of Dogget and Reyes.
I enjoyed the episode, but lament the lack of mythology arc episodes. We've really only gotten 1.5, and I appreciate the dive into more Mulder + Scully characterization but this is the kind of expository writing when youve got 20 something episodes to play with, not 6. I want my CGB Spender being a manipulative overlord controlling the implementation of the supersoldier project while Mulder+Scully+Skinner run around just one step behind.
Einstein was okay but Miller was kinda cringy. The conspiracy theorist in the pair needs to be less clean-cut.
Einstein came off WAY too angry. She was borderline yelling her lines.

Seems like we're very likely to get a season 11. Fox execs are behind it, only stumbling block seems to be Anderson and Duchovny's schedules. So if the brass are behind it they'll find a way to make it work.
No Chris carter. ?
Okay um...
Spoiler: show
You didn't notice it was him in the first episode? I'm also baffled.
Was it a good episode? It doesn't air here for another 2 hours...
I did, but I'm still just baffled by it entirely. He's come back to life like 7 times throughout the show.
And it's a damn good episode so far, but it's not over yet.
BRUH
Be prepared for a cliffhanger.
FUCK. Oh dear god if it ends there I might die.
god fucking dammit
