I'm kind of surprised they're doing the tea ceremony/elite 10 reveal in an OVA. That being said, it's probably to drive up the sales of the manga volumes or DVDs or etc and help promote a 3rd season down the line.

The manga has been really interesting in the direction its going. It almost feels like it's heading to its final story arc given the character reveals and fighting for elite 10 spots and etc etc.

That being said, they did just reveal about of cooking competitions outside of Totsuki with Joichiro's backstory, so there's always those to explore and new rivals to defeat in typical shonen fashion.

I want to see Soma crush NeNe and Isshki and Megiashima to dickstomp the 1st round with him.

Get some close losses in round 2, and Soma and Erina making it out by the skin of their teeth against Rindo and Eishi.

Don't piss off naked apron! I'd say that and another chapter with Ishiki at a minimum before we get to judging. Quite possibly another 1 with Souma/Ishiki
