If it's a game you could in theory know/trust to be good, could just pay it off when you have spare cash and not worry about it again.
That's what I did for Witcher 3 on Steam awhile ago. Generally though I avoid pre-orders like the plague these days and I'll only do it if a game is lacking in review embargoes/gets leaked onto Twitch and you can check it out right before release.
Also, you can just play the directors cut instead of the Wii U version. It includes the redone boss fights which is really the main draw of that version.

I downloaded the new app, not impressed imo. Reading reviews, and from personal experience, the app had 2 big issues. For a fair amount of the user base, it doesn't recognize the SE account login and the scanner doesn't pic up the QR codes it's meant for.
I am in the former category where the app says I have the wrong login, but I can log into the website with no issues.
Game Director, Jean-Francois Dugas, sidesteps the reason for not making any one HR ending canon, says Combat will be as satisfying as Stealth, Bosses aren't outsourced, & PLEASE BE EXCITEDhttp://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/...ealed-for-ps4/The trailer gives us a good idea of what ending is (sort of) canon in terms of the last game climactic events.
That being said, all endings sport a bit of truth, rumors and whatnot that got spread around the world. So, in a way, the answer to the question is more complex than just identifying one official ending.
DXHR and DXMD aren’t stealth nor combat games. They are what you want them to be. It has always been our goal to let you choose the way you want to approach things.
And for me, it is important that combat becomes as satisfying as stealth can be. It’s a question of balancing both approaches in such way that everybody can have fun with the preferred play-style.
I already mentioned in the past that the reason why bosses weren’t what they could have been is not related to the fact they were outsourced.
The boss problems are due to many internal factors and in the end, I had to make tough decisions that didn’t go the way.
We did a way better job on the Missing Link and Mankind Divided won’t repeat Human Revolution’s fault on the subject.
For gameplay, it will happen eventually – now, the focus is on the announcement and the trailer. Like we like say: please, be excited! ; )
Just gonna post this here since idk where the HR thread is. Playing the Directors cut of the game and got past where I was before. Everything is an improvement but the integrated Missing Link DLC sucks. It was better off being its own side thing because it totally killed the pace of the game. Here I was slowly powering up and taking on tougher areas when all of a sudden I have to slog through a bunch of weak ass areas while rebuilding my character. Shit sucks.
Eidos developing DE:MD for Consoles primarily, Nixxes to handle the PC port
http://www.nixxes.com/nixxes/newsdet.../news/182-dxmd
While this may come off as a shock, Nixxes has actually been in charge of porting every Eidos title to PC since 1999.
Well, I don't remember any eidos pc games being bad ports so this should be fine
The directors cut of HR had issues because for some reason they had used an older version of the game for the re-release. Generally though the ports are all excellent.
Our game is set in 2029, in a world where mechanically augmented humans have been deemed outcasts, seen as a danger for the rest of society. Many of them are feared and branded as terrorists. The world is in a constant state of chaos and tension, as the augmented population try to resist this segregation. We call our setting the Mechanical Apartheid.
As you’ve seen in our trailer, Adam Jensen is now equipped with an all-new arsenal of state-of-the-art weapons and augmentations: he represents the human 2.0. These new possibilities will support even more the multi-path and multi-solution design of Deus Ex. You can play the game the way you want: stealthy, full combat, a mix of both, aggressive but non-lethal and more – we will never impose a specific play style on you. It’s all about being creative with the tools you have at your disposal!
No Multiplayer Mode, just doesn't fit with the core game

Thank god.
