I'll be honest. I really liked Salvation lol. It had some dumb moments, but I enjoyed the direction for all the characters and was really hoping for more. Most people hate it though. Genisys was a fucking dumpster fire.

I think Salvation could’ve been great if Bale’s ego didn’t supposedly force multiple rewrites for a greater emphasis on his character. Sam Worthington was the best part of the movie.

The original ending for Salvation would have been soooooo much better.

John Connor was killed in the final attack. Worthington then volunteers a skin transplant and masquerades as John Connor so the resistance doesn’t crumble. Only a handful of people knew. Kyle Reese was kept in the dark intentionally.

Just seen, was decent, definitely better than the last few Terminator films.
