Yes you should. Only ones I played were Symphony of the Night and Circle of the Moon, but they were fun.

Sotn is still far away and my favorite (and in my top 3 all time games), but almost all of the GBA/DS ones are fantastic. Order of Ecclesia probably ranks as my favorite of the mobile versions.

SotN is still the best and a must-play for any gamer.

other than that... Ecclesia and either Aria of Sorrow or Dawn of Sorrow are the best. Circle of the Moon is surprisingly hardcore and very difficult but rewarding. Harmony of Dissonance is horrible turd of a game. and Portrait of Ruin gets a lot of hate for the gimmicky character-switching and annoying story but if you ignore that stuff it's incredible. it's by far my favorite to run on hard mode level 1 cap.

Bunny Must Die should also be considered a must-play for the genre, barring maybe SotN... I defintely enjoyed it more than the other metroidvania styled Castlevanias.

Shadow Complex and Guacamelee are probably the Metroidvania style games I've enjoyed the most the last few years outside of the namesake titles

I really need to play the first one; I've never quite gotten through the first level. too many character options and they're all so confusing. that was one thing I loved/hated about the Ogre Battle series; the class system was so unnecessarily mystifying with the stat requirements and alignment this-and-that.

Order of Ecclesia was amazing. Going to back this. SOTN was one of my fav games coming up and I loved the DS games as well

order of ecclesia was one of my favourites. the soma one were excellent too. i also fucking loved the xboxlive multiplayer harmony of despair! maxed out shanoa and charlotte in there (ice needles!!!) she was so kick ass until they nerfed her infinite MP heal option -_- (because soma wasnt op at all!)
