That doesnt mean they couldnt have put a section of the zone with 119-128 mobs?

Whats happening is the 119's are cleaving down large groups of 105 mobs, and there are no 105 mobs for the 99's to fight.

Vidala : Overbearing Ring

All these NMs were easy/fast to kill with PLD, GEO and SMN using Black Halo > Flaming Crush for Light SC, some can't even survive the first SC if FC crit or Bolster is used. The Golem took a bit more of time since it absorbs fire.

Because it's totally an EXP zone right? It's an end game zone designed for 99 people without iLVL gear. I won't say it couldn't have been done better but it's definitely not the most unplanned or unbalanced FFXI content.

You're missing the point. Imagine you were 99 without any iLVL gear. The content would make more sense (forming a small group to farm slits/fight NMs that pop.) The people who are most upset are those who treat it like solo content.

They give +50% and cap at 30000 exp, but that 30k is before multipliers and double campaign, so it's more like 110,000-120,000 right now before they vanish, and the cooldown is 15 minutes.

Except a lot of even the random pop NMs would absolutely curbstomp a party of 99s. There's no way that 99s could take out NMs like Muut, Beist, or Immanibugard without taking a whole alliance and treating it legion style with SPs out the wazoo.

Forming a small group is still slower than solo cleaving by FAR. Also some of the best 119 pieces for some jobs in game is introductory lv99 endgame?

Oh, okay.

Edit: Also people without ilvl gear will have roughly 0% chance of killing even the T1 NMs even with a full ally. Watching 95% of people on any number of jobs in ilvl119 gear die to the UNM NMs solo with 4 trusts is enough for that.

24k sparks gets you 117 gear, and its not that hard to get that many sparks with a bunch of first time bonuses.
