Just finished dinner, should be good to go for the rest of the evening. Anyone want to do some ranking up? Only done offline stuff so far, so I'd be starting from the very bottom.

holding A to gather is probably the best thing they added
I'm game to run some online stuff for awhile.
I'll make a hub for people to join in.
Doing some hr1 hub number 44-2511-2223-6996
Wow, at least for Aerial SA Gammoth is stupidly easy. First try I only took me a single Mega Pot learning his moves.
Been playing Adept Hammer, it's pretty fun once you get the hang of it
been doing Adept SA, it seems pretty good so far, if you know the tells for each attack you should be able to avoid every attack
I found Bushido/Adept to be fun with most every weapon I used it with. It just feels great to trigger a Perfect Evasion, hit the attack from it, and immediately Perfect Evade and do it again... and again. It feels like you are comboing the monster for once and not the other way around.
Took me 4 different parties to beat HR1 Gypceros,
People kept dying
Also i heard that in gen, you can now hit a monster when someone is on it, is it true?
Yes. It doesn't actually do damage, but fills up the mounting bar.
Yo real talk, a boomerang specced Palico does some really stupid damage.
Any particular things to look for when it comes to companion Palicos? Like will a boomerang cat work just as well as an AI on hunts or is it only really useful in Prowler mode.
I'm referring specifically to an AI cat, though I know boomerang is the preffered build in Prowler mode as well.
Mine is a Fighting Cat with Furr-ious, Piercing Boomerangs, Big Boomerangs, Mega Boomerang, and Flash Bombay. Boomerang Pro and Attack Up L for skills. Pairing it up with a Protection kitty for solo play.
I am working towards this in the end, but it's a long process...
Spoiler: show
Is there any explanation about what Bias do what? What does charisma do? Should I get two fighters? or a Fighter and a Healer?
It's described in game under Hunter's Notes.
What bias you want to use is up to you. I prefer Protection and Fighting for general use or doubling up on Gathering Palicos for Gathering missions. Healing can be nice to bring along for monsters that do alot of status debunks as well.
Why Capcom allows you to equip both Absolute Evasion and Absolute Readiness I have no idea. Shit is OP.

HR1 Urgent (Blagonga) followed by HR2 Keys!
Will take off PW if the room isn't filled in like 20mins
Aerial Hammer is also fun, for monsters that charge around a lot and are thus harder to actually connect with your blue charge
Doom I'm guessing you know this since you were playing X, and I cannot find the answer to this anywhere online.
What quest(s) unlock increasing the Palico level cap past 20?
