Because ratings boards look at physical stabbing and magical "impalement" as different things.

Part of Velvet's rage is from that stabbing and Artorius hanging his body in the air before dropping him. Magical stab just makes it weird

Both scenes make a display of suspending him midair before dumping him into the pit though.

I haven't played the game yet but I can't see how this change would impact her motivations or any future scene dealing with this one, unless for some bizarre reason she's not mad Arthur straight up murdered Laphicet, she's just mad about how he did it.

So i'm trying to decide between Beseria and Dragon Quest 8 3DS. Persona 5 would have made the issue irrelevant, but alas.

Coming off Pokemon, so I kinda want a console title for a while. Though Beseria is more likely to be $20 used much sooner than DQ 8 would be, and could potentially be a post Persona 5 pickup for really cheap, but would run into Zelda trumping it which would delay it even further.

I enjoyed Zestiria, but kind of felt cheated out of the full 60 bucks. I know what a quality title i would be getting with DQ8 initially.

Feb - Horizon Zero Dawn
March - Zelda
April - Persona 5
May - Beseria/DQ8/NX titles

Berseria should be better than Zestiria if they got rid off the annoying weakness shit. Then it just depends if you like Graces style combat or not.

I hated Zestiria for the above, made playing on anything higher than Moderate (though even that was a bitch) a complete pain.

I canceled Beseria atm because it doesn't interest me as much for a day1, and Tales of games often has deals either at Amazon or PSN, so i'll just get it later
