Well most of the episode was still the same old shit. The ending was different but it was kind of a lame cliffhanger. Ep6 definitely not as epic as I was led to believe.

A cliff hanger is only as good as the next episode. If they do status quo same shit then I'll drop, but this is a chance for shit to get better.

Gate and gakkou gurashi are the ones I look forward to the most each week this season.

Shimoneta is pretty funny too. The summary makes it sound like your typical lewd anime, but it's a lot better than it sounds imo.

Star Vs the Forces of Evil Ep 10

It was an thoughtful episode telling girls it’s okay to embrace your individuality. It was such a good theme and I like it that Marco didn’t complain about having to wear a dress. Miss Heinous, another villain they building for an ongoing Arc but what intrigues me is what happens to her face when she gets frustrated.

She has same cheek as Star, and her mother.


They seems to be foreshadowing "Toffee" and a weird face, with an alignment between a star, a sun(Marco???), and a moon.

Charlotte was "ok". Still not what I thought it was going to be after watching the first episode (which was great). In other news, Himouto is at least still good and Overlord is getting better.

Symphogear continues to be bat shit insane. They are going full on Kamen Rider at this point.

It's a shame you can't watch the series without watching the two prequels, but I highly recommend them. This train is so far derailed that it no longer has any tracks, and is riding on hype thrusters alone.

My god, shit's still silly.

I can't say I'd recommend this show generally unless you really like the genre because well...it's stupid as fuck. The animation is decent more often than not and the music is cool, but holy shit everyone and everything in this show is dumb.

A train wreck for sure and definitely nice if you like watching everything logical crumble to dust.

It doesn't take itself seriously. Basically, it's Code Geass with less robots and more punching and singing. What's not to like?

I wouldn't say it was even close to Code Geass, it's more like Guilty Crown with singing and fighting rather than...singing and fighting lol

My coworker thought it would be like Geass after seeing ep1 which I could kind of see. But since then it has gone far far in a different direction.

The ln is really far ahead. There's a group actively translating it. Im not sure if direct links to translations are allowed here, but if you Google skythewood translations you'll find it.

The grammar is incredibly bad. I only made it through the first 2 volumes before I lost interest.
