After installing a capable gpu to run this at 1440p I can't say this game looks good (as much as I wish it did). Fuck this game is bad. Dialogue is so awful. It's like a horrible action B movie. Gunplay is fine but it's just....boring. This is a $5 game at best.

    4v4 PVP Mode announced
Today, Ubisoft announced an upcoming beta test for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands’ player-versus-player (PvP) mode, Ghost War. The open beta for Ghost War will be available on all platforms later in the summer, and the full mode will release as a free update to all Ghost Recon Wildlands owners in the fall.

In Ghost War, two groups of players will team up to take part in a four-versus-four team deathmatch experience that builds on the tactical squad play from the main game. Teams will choose from a roster of varied classes that fill specific roles on the battlefield, as they navigate large-scale, open maps and take down their enemies. Ghost War will also integrate new PvP mechanics, including suppressing fire and sound markers, to create a true military strategic, team-based multiplayer mode.
Authentic Helicopter controls to be added
Taking flight in a helicopter over the cartel-controlled countryside in Ghost Recon Wildlands can be a risky proposition, but Title Update 6 is bringing changes to helicopter controls and handling that make flying both easier to control and more authentic. In addition to the control tweaks (detailed below), each type of helicopter now flies differently, and choppers won’t take off until they reach the correct RPM. Get a peek at the whirlybirds in action in the video above.

If the new control scheme isn’t the right fit for you, you can always switch back to the old controls. You’ll still be able to benefit from the new crosshairs (for gatling choppers) and lock-on targeting (for rocket choppers). Small helicopters armed with rockets will behave a bit differently, firing rocket salvos instead of locking on to enemies.

Title Update 6 also brings an assortment of bug fixes that you can read about on the official site . It will also kick off season 3 of Live Season Challenges, which will bring new challenges and new rewards to participating players. You can join in the fun by visiting the Ghost Recon Network for more information. Now, as promised, here is a look at the new helicopter control scheme.

    • Now the triggers control the vertical speed (LT = vertical descending speed, RT = vertical ascending speed)

    • The left stick controls the horizontal speed (up/down = forward/backward, left/right = left/right)

    • Left/right on the right stick controls the rotation speed of the chopper

    • Up/down on the right stick controls the rotation speed of the camera (allows you to control camera which in turn guides the helicopter’s direction)

    New Details
Today, Ubisoft announced that an upcoming open beta test for Ghost War, the new player-versus-player (PvP) mode update to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, will be available on all platforms between 21st September and 25th September, 2017. The stand-alone open beta will be available for preload starting September 19th for both Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands owners and new players who do not own the base game. The full mode will release as a free update to all Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands owners this autumn.

In Ghost War, two groups of players will take part in a four-versus-four (4v4) team deathmatch experience that builds on the tactical squad play from the main game, where strategy is equally as important as skill. Teams will choose from a roster of varied classes across three categories – Assault, Marksman and Support – that fill specific roles on the battlefield as they navigate large-scale open maps and take down their enemies.

The open beta will feature six of the twelve distinct classes, each with their own varied characteristics, weapons, perks and customisation options, and five of the eight unique maps. Ghost War will also integrate new PvP mechanics, including suppressing fire and sound markers, to create a true military-strategic, team-based multiplayer mode.

Those looking for more information about Ghost War and the open beta can tune into the Ghost War Premiere on twitch.tv/ubisoft on September 19th at 17:00pm UK time to see new PvP content for the first time, exclusively on Twitch. To celebrate this event, a pre-show with four hours of content featuring special guests will begin at 13:00pm UK time. A re-broadcast of the pre-show and main event will start at approximately 19:30 UK time. More details about the livestream can be found at ghostrecon.com/LivestreamAnnouncement.

Developed by Ubisoft Paris,* Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is a military shooter entirely playable in up to four-player co-op or single-player from beginning to end. Players have total freedom to accomplish their missions how they want and watch as the world reacts to their actions. Players can choose to move quietly in the night, go in hot at dawn or work together to execute a sync shot that takes out enemies in one fell swoop. Each choice has a consequence, and players must improvise or adapt their plans to ensure the completion and success of each mission.

    Year 2 Begins April 10th
    Hey Ghosts,

It’s been one amazing year, but now we’re ready for the next one. Starting with the first update on April 10th, Special Operation 1, Ghost Recon Wildlands will be officially entering its second year of live content.

We will have four updates this year, each one with its own special theme, bringing new PvE and PvP content to Ghost Recon Wildlands. For our first update, Special Operation 1, we have some exciting things in store for you.

A big theme reveal is yet to come, but to give you a taster:
    • Teammate Customization: You asked for it, and we heard you. AI Teammates' outfits can now be customized in our Campaign Mode to suit your gameplay approach. All-out stealth or R6 tribute? The choice is yours.
    • Sabotage: We are bringing a new mode and set of maps to Ghost War, with our new mode, Sabotage. The attacking team is tasked with capturing and holding an objective before the timer runs out, while the defending team tries to stop them. The attackers and defenders can also win the round by eliminating the opposing team.
    • Year 2 Pass: With a new year comes a new pass. Bringing early access to all Year 2 Ghost War classes, with a special customization pack and 8 Battle Crates included, our Year 2 pass will take your Wildlands experience to the next level.

As seen in our trailer, we also have a free PvE mission and a new PvP class coming your way, but the theme of Special Operation 1 is still to be revealed… More intel to come soon on that subject.
