Game is amazing so I would try it out, steam has that 2 hour refund thing so if it runs bad with patch then shelve it. Even the PS4 version has issues with the latest EU/NA patch (and latest JP patch has some minor issues) so I would try it out and see how it goes.

If it runs well you'll have a good time for sure.

DLC also adds hair dyes for 2B/A2, Emil/CEO bullets, a few masks and obviously the DLC outfits. But there's also fruit you can use to lower your level by 10, but you can only get it for beating the absolute hardest arena. Full of 130 enemies that 1 shot you on easy unless you have the absolute best chipset (and even then ranged attacks still 1 shot).

Played it with a 980ti and had 0 issues. Sister played it with a 680 and had some issues with the game white screening/crashing. I didn't do the fan patch. Absolutely loved the game.

Edit: Also worth mentioning that you should play with a controller, heard KB/Mouse is complete ass.

That might be a no-buy for me then, because I play mouse/keyboard exclusively. I can't work thumbsticks to save my life.

Yeah Mouse and Keyboard isn't very good with Nier Automata. Not because they didn't try but because of the constantly shifting gameplay.

I'm loving this game so far. The music is fantastic. I just learned the hard way that you lose all set non-system chips if you die before recovering your body.

What is a good way to obtain chips with the diamond icon so I can try to rebuild what I lost? I am at the Flooded City storywise. Thanks!

Chip drops depend on the enemy, like getting auto-healing from those long snake robots or ranged attack from the floating shooters. As for diamonds, you just gotta get lucky with the particular chip you have drop.

I'm absolutely loving the game. My only complaints are about inconvenient placement of some npcs, such as the one in the amusement park basement. And raw materials(I'm talking to you, Pure Water) are a chore to farm.

Just finished Ending C/D and the game keeps crashing during the credits scene before I can save. I've had intermittent crashing throughout my play, but this is the first time it's happened consistently in the same spot.

Yeah, it's on PC. It may be my save file(according to various sources) so I imported a save from someone else's game that was similar to mine and at the beginning of the C/D path. It doesn't take long to play through if you skip dialog and cutsceens so we'll see what happens.

Dude I am playing on a rig with a STRIX 1080. I had to dial back my resolution to 1080p and I still get random crashes. The game is just ported badly. It's still an amazing game, it's just kind of painful to play on PC.

The challenge mostly. I find playing on Hard fun. Haven't attempted very hard.
