THIS GAME IS A ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS. C FINISHED.
Yeah I finished C yesterday. What in the honest fuuuuuuuuck
D/E completed. I wish more games dealt with themes like this while offering up a satisfying conclusion. Are there still loose ends that need wrapping up likely because i'm not at 100% completion? Yeppers. Do those things take away from the main narrative? Not even a little bit.
Now that I got that out of the way I can finally play Persona 5 without feeling guilty.
Oh by the way, Yoko Taro is now on my fuck-it list. If his name is on it, i'm buying it no questions asked.
Rumblings are we may get a Nier remaster do to Automata's success
I think before that we'll get a DLC of some form (if sales are high enough, I think they've breached their threshold)? Rumors are that those apologetic robots "guarding" these elevators will lead to DLC content!
Just started, finally.
I thought the gibberish on the settings menu was some kind of intentional thing, but apparently the latest patch screwed things up?
Also, got wrecked by the first boss.
Time to get good.
New Content
Fans will soon have more to experience in the world of NieR: Automata with today’s announcement from Square Enix that a set of downloadable content is coming soon for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Steam.
The downloadable content (DLC) set, titled “3C3C1D119440927”, will include three exciting new colosseums to challenge, plus additional sub-quests. Upon completion of these quests, players can earn various rewards, including:
• Costumes from the previous Japanese release, NieR: Replicant, for androids 2B, 9S and A2
• Records that add special music tracks to the players’ jukebox
• New equipment and cosmetic accessories such as hairspray that allows you to change the color of 2B and A2’s hair
• Masks with unique “on equip” effects
• Special bullets that change the appearance of enemy bullets
So glad we get Kaine's outfit.

This is all kinds of greatness. Become as CEO is amazing too.
Looking forward to side-quests if they add more to the story/lore, would ideally like more story shit. I suppose those guarded doors lead to the arena though.
spoilers or no?
very spoilers
Maximum spoilers
And on another note the DLC has been released and costs £11.50 (which is what, $14-15?). Nothing outstanding but the costumes and hard ass arena mode with level 130 enemies and shit.
CEO fight is easy as well. Can't say I recommend based on content/price, but I got it because I'll throw any amount of money at Yoko Taro.
I've been on the fence about buying this. I want to play the game for sure, but I am a PC gamer and I would only be able to play it on the PC. I've heard that it was a horrendous port, but also that there's a fan patch to fix some of it. Has anyone played it on PC? Is it bad? Does the patch fix enough of it to make it good?
Played it with a 980ti and had 0 issues. Sister played it with a 680 and had some issues with the game white screening/crashing. I didn't do the fan patch. Absolutely loved the game.
Edit: Also worth mentioning that you should play with a controller, heard KB/Mouse is complete ass.
