Has anyone tried killing the adds on Faust to see if that reduces his stacks?

It's a hard enrage, we tried that our second pull and it was a no-go; gotta burn it the old fashioned way

Yep. The adds are way too tanky anyway; Faust has about 988,000HP, and each add has 155,000HP.

Killing Faust adds on normal didn't do it, it'd be awkward to suddenly have that on savage.

A1 New Mechanics in total: Hypercompressed Plasma, as described above.

Resin Bombs now linger where they're fired for a decent amount of time.

Gunnery Pods when fired by both Oppressors do about half health on everyone most times.

4 Nuke Lasers mean 4 adds that have to be killed in 4 specific places.

Resin is fired during adds if there is not big burst on them.

Resin is fired during jumps, one at a time possibly at random targets.

Jumps land in opposite corners.

Did I miss anything?

The jumps rotate, the first set will always be opposite sides, the second will always be together, the third will be opposite again. He'll enrage before he launches a fourth time. The Resin bombs that are fired during 3000-tonze phase when you're trying to position the adds are punishment; you have to bait them away from the lasers, then move the add to be killed in afterwards.

Um that's good news, I've heard you need 6.8k dps to beat his enrage. Guess it's lower then.

Just saw a group doing it with 7k dps and it was very close. Something must have been wrong wiht your parse, I dont think 6.2k will cut it.

depends on how much aoes and shit cleave adds. (deathflare/scorn/shadowflare anything can inflate it a bit)

If he has ~990k hp as posted above then 3minute fight is 5500dps, 2:45 6000dps, and 2min 30secs is 6600dps.

Stream just beat A1 on Behemoth (Server 1st). They parsed a combined 4.9k on Oppressor and they had about 8 seconds left before the hard enrage.

Edit: A2 has no trash mobs.

He gets a stack roughly every time an add spawns; when he gets to 7 stacks, he'll boost that straight to 16 stacks. In total it's about ~2:45 for seven adds to spawn, so basically around three minutes to kill.

If he has ~990k hp as posted above then 3minute fight is 5500dps, 2:45 6000dps, and 2min 30secs is 6600dps.

My ACT could just be wonky; but it was showing us at 6500 Raid DPS at three minutes, and ACT itself says Faust has 990k HP.

did anyone deathflare/painflare/flare/decimate the adds? any of those can inflate dps a ton. Just look at incoming dps on faust itself

But is that 6500 drilled down to just damage on Faust or does it include damage that may have been on adds through AoE?

Hmm, I want to say the DPS weren't using big AoEs, but I guess someone was. Over the three kills, Incoming damage on Faust is at about 5500 (+/- ~250). So, yea...
