Samsung S6 wont turn on?

Bought a samsung S6 when they first come out. I take extremely god care of it. Yesterday notice the power indicater light was green but when pushing the home/power button nothing would happen. Held down the power button and the phone eventually turned on (it was never turned off). Now the phone is doing the same thing but nothing will turn the phone/screen on. Was on charge for about 5 hours. Power indicator is green but screen/phone will not power on. Tried holding power button, home button, both at same time and home+power+volume up. No dice. Any ideas?

update: finally got it to power on. Had to unplug it... and plug it back in while holding the power button... any idea what causes this now?

strange act, never had this kind of problem with my s6 edge
