Autumn 2015 Anime Season Thread

I also think Heavy Object was meh, I know I was tired and hungover but I basically feel asleep during the last part. Not exactly what I expected from this, but I still think it has potential so we'll see.

Haikyuu was spot on. Nothing to complain about and I'm lucky that the break between seasons was not that long for me.

Noragami was fun, although at times I had a weird feeling that there were some quality drops. I know S1 was some time ago already, but I don't remember if that happened back then too.

Hackadoll is... not my cup of tea

That is high HIGH praise for Osomatsu-San. Exceedingly high especially comparing it to Gintama. I'll have to check it out

Edit: The first episode was actually pretty damn good! I'm not 100% sold on it just yet though, gonna give it another couple episodes to see if it can maintain that same level of entertainment

Just that cast is already worth it to follow the full season.

Osomatsu wasn't among the anime I planned on watching this season, but I found the first episode to be pretty funny, so thanks for recommending it Ker. I'm not sure what to expect from future episodes, but I'll continue watching and see.

Concrete Revolutio had the best first ep + potential imo. It's 24 episode and original story so no worries about unfinished or anime ending bullshit.

iroshi Kobayashi (Rage of Bahamut Genesis assistant director, Kill la Kill episode director) will make his directorial debut with the anime at Studio Trigger, and Mari Okada (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, anohana, The Anthem of the Heart) is writing the script. Shirow Miwa (Dogs: Bullets & Carnage, supercell illustrator) is drawing the original character designs, while Mai Yoneyama (Japan Animator Expo "Hill Climb Girl," Kill la Kill animation director) is adapting those character designs for animation.

Was nice to see Ore ga Ojou-sama Gakkou ni Shomin Sample Toshite Gets Sareta Ken (wonder if it'll be uncensored DVD/BD >.>) although... ALTHOUGH, the muscle men were taken to a whole new level of disturbing wtf animated... O_o
