As far as I know there's no A and B but some parts of the game change (mainly the beginning and the end) depending on who you pick first. So your first character will always enter the RPD from the main gate while the second has to go through more city streets and backdoors. The rest of the game however is unique depending on the character with no interactions between the two scenarios (like picking the inventory expansion or the gun in the original). That's why they didn't call this A and B.

There's still 4 different campaigns. B campaign is pretty similar to the originals B campaign there's just no zapping system. Like originals in the B campaign in this game Mr.X is activated right from the start and plays a much bigger role. You get a different weapons including some unique ones to the B campaigns.

REmake3 is already in development apparently, potentially with a semi open-world to explore. Seems like Capcom was very satisfied with preorders alone and they decided to go ahead with RE3 a few months ago.
RE3 was my favorite so I really hope they do a good job with it.

I played the demo on both PS4 and PC and decided to go PC. Aiming is easier with a mouse and in general controlling on pc felt a little better to me. PC also means SSD, screw console load times A bonus that pc version is also cheaper

He can open doors and follow you now. There is no “safe room” from him. You either gotta just run far enough away that he loses you, kill him (momentarily), or get to the next scripted event by solving puzzles to evade him.

Now just imagine Nemesis doing that in the RE3 remake

If remaking RE6 means getting an actual RE game with a decent story and actual survival horror mechanics then sure, I'm all in. I can only hope these remakes do really well and then we take a detour when it comes to RE4 compared to the original series.
If you want pure action just revive Dino Crisis, it shouldn't be that hard.

Leon's feel's the closest to classic RE. Chris is probably the furthest from it, but those two were my favorite.
