Must be my pessimism but basically nothing to really be excited for in 3.1. Same content, new coat of paint. I don't really take anything Yoshi-P says at his word especially after his whole "HW dungeons will provide a different pacing than players are used to compared to ARR dungeons". Maybe the minion game won't be completely fucked by some dumb restriction or system and airship exploration will really be content for the FC (the whole FC, not just 8 people, as in making an alliance if needed).

Not really pessimism as that's what's raking in the money - once he starts losing significant money then things will change. I guarantee there will be a "lord of verminion" type allocation system where you can only partake in it like a few times a week or need to build credit similar to beastmen dailies. Yoshi isn't one to NOT put restrictions to mask lack of content or to keep it fresh for months.

So far only thing I'm excited for is Void Ark because I love seeing how people fuck up the simplest things.
