Pokemon Go (Mobile July 2016)

I think they nerfed just how many starters there were in the wild. At least thats what I get the feel of from the first few days of the event and now. Pokeballs seem to be the trouble for me now, but I'm almost done. Went from having 0 charmander, 3 bulbasaur, 7 squirtle candy pre-event to 94 charmander, 98 bulbasaur, 94 charmander. I already had a wartortle and an ivysaur, but I managed to catch a charmeleon and another ivysaur in the wild. Even ran into a charizard yesterday but after 5 balls my game crashed.

Still haven't seen one in the wild, nor Snorlax or Lapras. I have seen and caught a Gyarados though, at a crispy 247 CP.

I've seen 2 Dragonite, both of them sub 400 CP... I've hatched a Snorlax and still haven't even saw a glimpse of Lapras.

Got my first 100% a couple weeks ago...

My first 100% was a Spearow as well. I also got a 100% Rhyhorn, which I promptly evolved and got Rock Smash on.

I have two 100% pokemon. A Poliwag that evolved into a Poliwrath with Mud Slap and Earthquake (lol), and a Staryu that evolved into a Starmie with Water Gun and Hydro Pump (pretty solid). They both came from eggs.

Caught two Ditto while at a restaurant yesterday. Both rats.

Event gave me tons of Squirtle. Caught a Venasaur. So those two are done. Unfortunately i didn't see many Chars. Caught a 91% Charmeleon then a 95% Charmander but both were low cp. So I'll have decent IV Zards, but really low CP when I manage to get enough candy.

Porygon? Interesting. It has pink in it but I didn't expect to see it for this. I'm also seeing increased spawns of Lickitung and Exeggcute. I'll be happy if I get a Chansey out of this as I don't have one. I figured all Fairy types would just have an increase and most Fairy types are pink(ish).

Not thrilled about another double candy event. Still let down they didn't give us double dust for Christmas.. you know.. SNOW holiday. Snow.. dust... magical happy fun time. Whatevs. Let's just keep showering people with candy to evolve things but not enough dusts to power all those things up.

Oh, also.. anyone having issues with Curve Balls? If I get a Nice/Great/Excellent throw I don't get Curve credit. If I don't get a good throw I seem to get Curve Ball bonus at the end. I can't remember the last time I've seen both together and I always throw Curve Balls.

Chansey and Porygon are two of the only non-evolutions I'm still missing. Hopefully I can snag one of each.

Too bad there isn't double candy for buddies. Also, this event has been nothing but Jigglypuffs and Lickitungs pops with a smattering of Goldeens for me.
