Yeah but double candy from eggs is still nice to have. It's been raining jigglypuffs/Slowpokes here but I already had a Lickitung in my pokedex and I caught a Chansey and Porygon today so I'm satisfied by this event. The spawns really should have been biome independent like the Halloween event was, though.

They halved the distance for buddy candy, so it's pretty much the same as 2x candy.

Eggsecutors and Lickitungs all day ery day. And the occasional jigglypuff. Lame.

Unfortunately even though I'm able to catch from my house now... none of the event stuff seems to be spawning here. Very rarely have I seen something other than the usual Pidgey/Ratatta.

The updated nearby/sightings list completely screws me over. When I visited prior to it I knew about all kinds of rare spawns around the block. Now I have no idea if there is one two doors down because there are stops in view range. I've just been logging in, getting my daily catch, then closing it.

Went out of town and I've run into 3 porygons now with several others spotted at various pokestops. All of them under 50cp.

And now at a different part of town its just rattata and pidgey and the occasional jigglypuff.

All I'm seeing is Porygons and Jigglypuffs. Never ever seen a Chansey or Clefairy though.

After the New Year's event I managed to stock up on incubators and hatched all of my eggs, which all got eventually replaced with 5k eggs from stops. I haven't seen a 10k or even 2k in ages

Are 5k eggs really common for everyone else?

Looks like most/all the Johto pokemon are coming later this week, along with gender variations and evolve items (found at pokestops). Also, new berries to keep pokemon from running or give more candy on catch. New clothes options.

The gender, clothing options, and new UI is available now. Well, I used the APK download because it wasn't showing up for me but is available for some. You can finally get rid of the stupid hat, belt, and backpack!

Now I'll fuss over getting the wrong gender of something good.. damn my weird need to have male pets.

It is suppose to be in the 60s this weekend, so I hope it comes out Friday.

I also read they are lowering the coin cost to upgrade your pokemon storage to welcome the new gen.

Evolve button now shows what they will evolve into. The genders are also live.
