Has anyone got an evolve item from something other than the daily bonus pokestop visit?

Are incubators a rare drop from Pokestops or do you have to buy them? Cause I'm maxed out on eggs and I've only got the one default incubator and it sucks.
Yeah incubators are the reason I do Gyms
So the "Region Exclusive" Pokemon for Gen 2 is Heracross and it is exclusive to Central and South America. However, Niantic screwed up or got lazy and drew the line at the 29th parallel. Which means there are two areas of the US where you can catch Heracross.
1. South Texas. Major cities include Corpus Christi, McAllen, and Brownsville
2. South Florida. Basically, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale down to the Florida Keys
Man PG Nexus has been broken as fuck all day
Just got a Skarmory - is that rare? Looks cool, at least. Unfortunately it's only 25 CP. Lol
Popping lures brings all of the Sentrets to the yard.
Spoiler: show
Sentrets are the new Rattata, holy shit I saw so many today. Walked enough to hatch a 10k egg, would have done more but my phone died. It was good seeing people out today, was back to the way the crowds were at launch in my area.
They're more annoying that rattata and pidgey because they're so huge.
I hit up maybe 20 pokestops today. I still have yet to get a single evolve item.
I'm really lucky I got a scale on one of my first stops. Problem is I need like 75 more candies to get a kingdra :'(
Anyone have a good IV site since PG Nexus has been down?
I downloaded an ap for my IVs since it's down. It's called IV Go.
Walked around on Saturday trying to stock up on balls but was catching shit as fast as I could get them. Still no evo items from any of the stops.
I have 2 sunstones and a king's rock... sucks since the Porygon upgrade and metal coat are the best upgrade items...
Caught a Quilava today but the silhouette looks nothing like what I was expecting (it has no fire on its back so it just looks like a rodent) so I had no idea what pokemon I was looking for until it popped up.
Well, rumor's been that 7th day pokestop spin gives a good chance of getting an evolve item and today on my 7th day spin I did actually manage to get my first item.
Or course, I think gen2 Pokemon were already out on my last 7 day spin and I didn't get an item then.
What sucks for me is that it was a metal coat and I have a total of 3 Scyther candies and I've never even seen an onix.
I just want a metal coat for Scizor ; ;
Those upgrade items are total rng. Yesterday I got none, the day before I got a Sunstone and a Dragon Scale within 30 min.
I am exactly ONE Magikarp candy away from getting my first Gyarados. Ugh.
