Finally got enough Magikarps for my first Gyarados, hooray. Also caught my first Ditto which was masquerading as a Magikarp.

Has anyone used a Ditto in the gym? What happens with transform?

Copies the pokemon you used it on, including its moveset. The stats aren't 1:1 though.

Is it just me or does it seem like every Murkrow is stupidly hard to catch? Even the weak ones are consistently breaking out of the Pokeballs.

I caught one for my pokedex and haven't bothered catching any more. It's evolution isn't in the game yet and it's got a big CP range which makes it a pain sometimes.

Oh yeah, forgot he had an evolution. Or more like, I thought he had an evolution but when I caught him I saw that he didn't and thought I was originally wrong. Guess I'll try and catch a few more since they're goddamn everywhere

Yeah, Murkrow are little assholes. Even >200cp like to break out a few times.

I still have not gotten an evo item... but I don't hit stops consistantly enough for the 7 day streak.

Also finally got a PoGo+. Fucking thing is so slow to pick up you're by a stop. By the time it realizes you're by one you're well past the range to spin it while driving. Even doing 25. That's if it even registers it. Tracks distance for eggs much better, though. Just walking around my house gets me credit.

His evo is still like a year away, at best. So no worries.

There's a new medal (w/ catch bonus rewards) for catching Dark pokemon, of which Murkrow is the only reliable source. So there's that.

Went through the official pogo twitter and it looks like the special pikachu is popping in the UK and nowhere else. No increased spawn rates either.

Finally got a 7 day streak on Pokestops, no evo item...

Got an Up-Grade evo item yesterday on a regular stop. First one in a week.
