Day 2 has less upset potential than Day 1.
KT>TSM
LGD>OG
SKT>BKT
EDG>H2K
KOO>FW
CLG>PNG
The most likely upset is KT/TSM, KT can bungle teamfights sometimes, aside from that they are pretty good, if they can get a small lead I'd expect them to smash tsm, if they fall behind and are forced to win marginal teamfights around dragons they could lose.
TSM
It looked a bit hopeful initially then it went downhill when the teams were roaming.
LGD vs OG - LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
Soaz with the xpeke.
That was some beautiful play from Peke.
Loved this game. Not just because of the outcome, but it was interesting throughout. Imp\Pyl styling on OG, xPeke farming a storm to hit that crucial shockwave, the backdoor ending etc.
I think I'm a better jungler then TBQ
Never seen Olaf mid. Is it supposed to work the same as top in this melee match up?
Faker picks what he wants
Also i really hope that riot rethinks giving out two IWC spots for worlds from now on. I confident Team 8 could beat BKT easily. They do not belong here.
That's why I said supposed to. Faker could pick anything against these teams and make it work.
I'm strongly against excluding regions simply because of their relative strength. If you go that way, where do you draw the line and we've seen last year what an important role an IWC team can play.
You honestly think a 4th placed team instead of BKT would've made a difference in this group?
Today has some really good games.
SKT > EDG
H2K> BKT
LGD > KT
OG > TSM
C9 > IG
FNC > AHQ
Most questionable games... lgd/kt and ig/c9. EDG/SKT is too close to call though. Just a shame it's bo1.
Also games start earlier today, 2hrs earlier than weekdays. Show is on in 10mins.
Holy lord, didn't realize matches start earlier today. I would've been pretty bummed if I missed SKT vs. EDG. Thanks for the heads up.
EDG threw w/ their 5 min dragon. Put the laners down a level, cost them second dragon fight, into snowball and gg.
H2K vs BKT has been way more entertaining that I thought it would be.
Well the "LGD is secretly #1 team in china" hype is being challenged :d
@IWC There is also the issue that if they are excluded they never get exposed to top level talent. Also there is the world's aspect to it. I agree that a fourth place team in just about any region wouldn't do much better that the IWC teams. Add in the Kabuum factor and you have a decent set of arguments to include them.
@LGD as well as China in general. I believe that the individual mechanical skill level of the regions is increasingly moving towards parity. As that happens, communication and team play is going to be the difference between the good and the great. When English is your common tongue on a team of Koreans and Chinese players, you just aren't going to have the ability to rapidly pass along nuanced game data. That and I think that TBQ might only be able to play Lee Sin.
