Yeah, as an Aussie, watched it with my housemates and we all thought it was totally crap episode.
Guess we didn't get any of the jokes. Liked the first two episodes of this season though.
I liked the episode... but then again Tulsa has 2 whole foods and seems to do this "district revitalization" thing every 1-2 years.
It's definitely an episode that hit either 100% or 0 from talking to people I know who watched it
I thought it was hilarious, having lived in a portion of Oakland almost identical to Sodasopa (complete with a Whole Foods) but it was a very niche joke running thru the entire episode.
Pretty much all about gentrification.
One of the byproducts of "urban development" as it is often called, is the renaming of the area to make it sound safe or hip to outsiders. South Central LA had something happen on a smaller scale when they changed the name from South Central to South LA or SOLA when they were proposing gentrifying some neighborhoods. This style of abbreviation is often used and what Sodosopa was making fun of as it was South Downtown South Park.
Views of historic Kenny's house

The Villas at Kenny's House. hahah
Speaking of Kenny, I don't recall Kenny having a brother and sister, when did that happen?
Long while ago
Well I mean technically Kenny has had like 50 something brothers?
What other topics can they cover next besides Volkswagen, the Confederate Flag, and Ashley Madison?
Kenny's siblings were introduced a loooong time ago.
