I wonder if that's the same show from Tampa earlier this year. If it is, I was a bit sad about lack of XI music as well. I thought they usually played Ronfaure, at the least.
Overall, fantastic show both times I saw it. Hopefully they'll be near me again soon.
yes please do I'd love to see it. really thinking about going to the Dallas one don't know how much I want to pay for seats though lol.
Houston 7:30 PM July 23
Spoiler: show
That looks about the same as the show here, except they did do Warriors of the Crystal from FFXI. Of all the XI songs, I'm not sure why they chose that one but meh.
I was personally hoping for Rhapsodies song. Since FFXI just ended storyline wise, it would have been great.
Posting since I love this trailer
My girlfriend just got tickets for us to go on Saturday to the show in Phoenix. So stoked!!
Also, Hi Kori!
A slightly different format than Distant Worlds, but A New World, the chamber music variation is coming to Houston next month. Anyone else here planning on going?

That's very... interesting. I look forward to hearing some of those arrangements. If it comes near me, I'd probably go.
Just grabbed two tickets for the January show in 2018. Hyped for this. Hope they include some FFXV music.
Carnegie Hall in NYC.
ah, St. Pete for me
I have ridiculously high expectations for this.
I absolutely loved the Zelda symphony when I went, and comparatively speaking, final fantasy’s OST history completely dwarves it.
The biggest problem I have with the concert (if you can call it a problem) is that there is SO MUCH MUSIC to pull from, inevitably half of what is played comes from the FF games I didn't play. As my last true console was a PS1, I didn't play anything after XI except the 2 MMOs. So while they'll play one-winged angel every show, most of my other favorites aren't played any longer as they are now on season 4 (or 5?).
On the flip side, they keep writing new orchestrations for older games, so that's awesome. I think the last concert I was at they debuted the Four Archfiends from IV.
Yea it's fine to have stupidly high expectations. It will probably meet them quite easily. I still get chills recalling Dancing Mad when I went many years ago in LA. Dat pipe organ.
