I was reading that big screen tv's made by Samsung are going to get a deep discount at Best Buy.
I need to keep an eye out for a new gaming monitor, halp.
28" LED 4k 60hz for $380. Use promo code DISPLAY5 at checkout.

Pretty good price for 4k LED. IPS would be ideal but I'd be confident in this monitor. If I was in the position to get this I probably would. I'm not sold on BF/CM prices for pc parts. Last year was extremely disappointing.
My concern with 4k monitors is how well 980 will run things on it. Thoughts on that?

Of course it will depend on the game, but I'd say to get 30+ fps you'll need to run more intense games like Witcher 3 on medium to high. You won't need AA on. Of course adding a second 980 is going to help incredibly. Or, look for a 1440p monitor which will be sub $300. The Qnix was around $220 recently I want to say.
Don't think I'm doubling up on 980 haha. I like being able to max my games so 4k probably isn't for me. Will have to look at other options
Honestly 4k feels pretty pointless for a desktop PC. 1440p is more than adequate and can still already be a pain in the ass to run at higher settings without a ridiculous setup.
I'd get a Qnix then. I love mine. Or, look into the bigger screens and see what's best for you. I'm still considering 4k as I'm considering adding a 3rd 290x. Not sure if my 1200w psu is enough though.
Well I wasn't in a super rush, which is why I was gonna wait and see if theres any good deals in november. If not then I was gonna just pick one.
Wonder if we'll see a decent ps4 deal... Considering they just had a price drop recently
I still don't think that tops the XBONE+Samsung LED TV bundle BB had a few months back.
I'm curious to see BB's TV deals; traditionally the best time to buy a TV is Super Bowl season.
I have a 7 year old 50" Samsung plasma that is still going strong but I'd like to upgrade. lol
43" LG TV + XB1 Gears of War bundle for $550, free shipping, too.

Very similar to the BB deal; there's was a 40" Samsung and system(bundles were included) for $500.
There's no way I could get anything smaller than the 50" I currently have but I'm really not expecting a huge TV. Wife and I went round and round on pulling the trigger on the BB deal but we couldn't figure out where the hell we'd put a 40" TV if not in our living room since it's a bit too big for a bedroom TV. /shrug.
Yeah, I'm in the boat where if I got a new TV, I'd need to get rid of the old 40 inch one. No real space to put it in the bedroom, sadly.
Should we move this to general and make it a general Black Friday thread?
Also, has anyone seen any deals on Kitchenaid Stand Mixers? Was gonna get the GF one for Christmas.
