FFXI Brady Games guide was the best
FFXI Brady Games guide was the best
D'aawwwww
Those web codes were such bullshit. My second playthrough, the website was still around, so I went through all the codes and added the info as marginalia to the book.
Not really foresight, but hey, I have a fully functional copy of the book despite the website being gone.
In the end, no matter how shyte Krillin is, he still wins at life.
That guide for FFXII was amazing. Incredibly detailed, good lay-out, nice illustrations and well-readable. I've only heard shit about other FF guides so I was very surprised about this one. I'm replaying the game now and spent an hour last night just reading in it.
yeah the 12 guide was dope, but honestly i used the shit out of my XI guide for help making macros and shit when i first started because lets face it, i never would have figured that shit out without it. The maps were useful as well, But i totally agree the 9 guide was such fucking bullshit wanting me to go to their website just to look up side quests.
The 8 and 10 guides were good.
that was random.

Uggg just did a vagary run with a guy (Shardi if anyone cares) like that who wouldn't stop. They didn't even make sense either like one spell he'd have "Whip smack" and another it would be "hadoken" and "can't touch this" and some other one was about how hard he was and how he was skeeting or something.
G-Prime BOOOOOOOOST (and other gfaqs memes) will never die.

I used a lot of /p macros in the beginning of my FFXI career, but like one poster said, as a RDM, nobody really says much cuz they're just happy to have you on board.
I did keep a /p in my Convert macro: "Let's give the WHM a heart attack!"
