Nothing is impossible. But it's just a taller order than simply saying, "just make the food," is my point. If you have to order all the food and wait days to get it, it's going to end up being an extremely once in a while thing.
Again, not impossible, but I can see why someone is reluctant to do it.
How people don't know how to make basic food is beyond me. YouTube holds your hand. Step your game up. This applies to both sexes.
Fuxkin hipsters love to eat fancy food , but have no idea how to actually make them.
Korean bbq with hot pot is the king shit!! If you've never had Alaskan King crab from a chinese restaurant, you haven't lived.
You're right but I think the bar is barely hovering above the ground for the difficulty in ordering shit from Amazon. Planning meals isn't rocket surgery. I think it's far easier now than it was.
You only really need to order spices. Decent meat can be had from any major retailer. Fruits and veggies are pretty standard too.
dont forget amazon is working on drone delivery too. wont be long before you decide you want to make your egyptian dinner then realize you're out of an ingredient, order it online, and have it land on your doorstep in a few hours or less. ;x
That's fantastic but again, dudes, i live in a town of 3000. We don't have any of that. Amazon maybe but we don't have same-day shipping here, and certainly not drone, lol. The local grocery store (singular) is shitty, so i'm looking at ~20 miles to buy groceries.
like i said, i gotta get the hell outta this town.
You don't need same-day shipping homie. It's spices. Shit doesn't go bad.
Buy some Pepper Plant Garlic Sauce while you're at it. It's the bomb.
This is where I go for all of my spices - https://www.penzeys.com/
Always quality. My favorites are Pakistani Red Pepper flakes, Vindaloo curry, Hot Red curry, Brady Street cheese sprinkle, Black and Red pepper.
dafuq am i gonna put spices on tho? real food spoils, man. you either get small portions and run out too soon or get large portions and throw away half of it when it goes bad... also too soon. i aint drivin ~50 miles every other day just for groceries.
i will try to get something real to cook tomorrow, tho. going to town anyway.
Shop one to two times a week after planning your meals. This is what I do. Even if it's 50 miles both ways, that's not that bad. The local Stop & Shop near me is like 4 miles away, but it still takes me 15 mins to drive home from there. You're just adding 10 minutes each way to that for 10x the distance.
Penzey's is on the pricey side. If you head a few minutes down the road, namaste plaza has great pricing and basically everything as far as spices.
Yeah food don't spoil that fast. I usually cook big enough portions to last me 3-5 days. Occasionally I freeze cooked shit but mostly just free ingredients (like giant packages of Costco meat). Vacuum sealer rather nice for things like that. Plenty of shit lasts pretty long in the fridge. Remember those "best buy" dates don't mean shit
Go to grocery store about 1 day a week walking so only what I can carry and Costco whenever I can get a ride which is like twice a month
I fill the freezer and work out of it for most of a month. I buy extra stuff sometimes but not THAT much.
for meat yeah
was thinkin more about greens and eggs and whatnot.
Veggies can go. You can chop them and freeze them if you wanted; then you could cook them later on. This would work with things like peppers, but tomatoes are too watery and can screw with the texture imo.
Eggs last forever. Don't believe "best by" dates on eggs. My sister-in-law has about 2 dozen chickens. When we go up there every other month we grab a dozen or two eggs to bring back with us. We don't use eggs that often, though, so we always have a stock of eggs.

Veggies can last up to a year if prepared and stored properly.
