Drinking Soylent on a regular basis has actually improved my relationship with food. I typically consume about 2-3 bottles of 2.0 each day, and then several times a week for dinner I've started preparing something interesting to eat. Much like was mentioned above, I've started watching YouTube videos about cooking, preparing food, knife techniques, etc. Recently I've been experimenting with cooking steaks (various searing techniques, utilizing the pan juices for mushroom sauces, finishing in the oven vs. in the pan).
The alleviation of the constant grind that is the necessity of having to insert heavily-flavored calorie-containing things into my mouth without getting tired of the stuff has given me a much greater appreciation for flavors and textures when it's an appropriate time.
