With Jar Jar Binks being a Sith, does this make Trump the new Emperor?
It's all very confusing.
Can't be right... no proof Gungens are interested in golden showers
NOPE. Thanks for the heads up cobra, not setting foot in that nopefield. I have no desire to travel to india now. Even though their food is fucking awesome, probably the one place i could legit be ok with being a vegetarian.
Made me think of this meme.
I know we're largely over the Biden memes by now but I liked this one.
Haha amazing

I like how all the sale prices are more than the regular prices.
I must be an Aussie then and not Canadian
tesla autopilot 2.0
I love seeing the innovation behind self driving cars, but every fiber in my being tells me they're bound to fail, except MAYBE for trucking on highways. I've lived in too many places in my life with absolutely abysmal or faded road markings that even as a human I couldn't even figure them all out. Combine that with leftover spare lines from or during construction and I just can't see it happening.
Also, while not a great counterpoint since I hope/assume cars like this have much better sensors than my car thats not intended for self driving, but in my Prius I was forced to shut off my lane correction function because after a rainy day when the sun was at a low angle making a massive glare on the water, the alert kept going off over and over and my wheel kept trying to turn me into the side wall (though if you've ever driven a car with this feature, u know it doesn't tug all that hard, but I'm sure someone out there is taking their hands off the wheel for some dumb reason or another.
I actually think the opposite, in quite an extreme fashion. I could see the technology getting so good that self driving cars simply always make better driving decisions than humans, because they have so much more information available to them, and have a much greater capacity to process it all in real time. As a result of that at some point in the future it will no longer be common place for people to drive, it may even be outlawed even farther down the line.
There are already a few videos of tesla auto pilot predicting accidents before they happen and stopping the vehicle to avoid them. Here is just one video of a few examples of that taking place.
I just drove home tonight over an 80 mile stretch of road that was snow covered with no road markers of any kind. The last 10 miles was standing water and ruts with heavy rainfall. I wonder how autopilot would handle that. My guess is that it wouldn't. This is just one of hundreds of conditions that I encounter that I believe autopilot would not be able to handle. Automation may be coming to major cities with well developed road systems and lots of money in the economy, but it will be a very long time before it comes to smaller towns and rural areas if it comes at all. The technology will have a very hard time with the roads and conditions and the people will not be able to afford the vehicles.
