The Federation came extremely close to collapse during the dominion war and with the destruction of Romulus (which did happen during the prime time line) the alpha quadrant is going to be extremely unstable. I probably couldn't see the Federation collapsing but I could easily see a dark theme again like DS9.
Seven of Nine and Holodoc episodes are some of the finest of all Star Trek.
Aye. Voyager annoyed me because every other episode for the first few seasons was "we found this new way home, but we'd have to not help this one group of people if we took it, so we're turning down <insert instant path home #48979>."
The last few seasons just whored out the Borg for ratings.
So is this following Pine?
^Is this a new deal or something? Because obviously all the old ST stuff was one continuity.
Hm, I would have liked some sort of under title personally.
At least they have a year to fix cgi
Also coming to Netflix. Will air day after CBS broadcast.
Well thankfully I own a DVR now.

The show will be set 10 years before Star Trek: The Original Series.
The main character will be a woman, but not a captain. "We've seen six characters from the captain's point of view," Fuller said.
Fans, Fuller noted, can expect a diverse cast and crew, as well as a full range of alien species the crew will encounter.
And, yes, he confirmed, there will feature a gay regular character.
The Discovery ship design is still a work in progress, he said, but it will feature elements of illustrator Ralph McQuarrie’s Star Trek: Phase II designs, along with those of 1970s-era race cars, Lamborghinis and James Bond vehicles.
“There's an incident, an event, in the history of Starfleet that has been talked about (in previous Star Trek shows), but never fully explored."
Section 31 is not directly involved in that incident/event, “but that's not to say that might not have some marble through the meat of our season.”
