The Challenge 27: Bloodlines

December 2nd premiere. Get psyched.

We need to figure out how we want to do Fantasy this season. Seems like we had too many people to do it right last time.

I have three proposals:

• Salary cap. I'll have to come up with some sort of system based on experience, past performance, strength of partner, etc.
• Do a single draft, but have everyone available twice (although you can only pick each person once).
• Have two separate (but equal sized) drafts and just track them together.

Any other thoughts?

That's what I was thinking. It's unlikely any teams will be the exact same; it's just every contestant will show up on two different teams in the same league.

All right folks, we have 15 days left until the premiere. Need to get this figured out. Who's in this season?

Figure we'll do two drafts if we have more than five. Less than six and everybody gets five players, which I think is enough. If we do have two separate drafts, though, we need to do an even number of people in each draft, so anyone beyond the 6th person will need to come in pairs.

If there is an aired "Shit They Should Have Shown" show, that will count in scoring. The reunion episode will not.

Note: Since I am doing this scoring manually, I will allow trades up until the show that airs immediately before the final. As with other fantasy sports, scoring will not be retroactive, and will only start scoring the week immediately after the trade. No trades on Tuesdays between noon and midnight Pacific time. Players already eliminated are not able to be traded.

Let me know if we need anything changed prior to the draft.

Tooting my own horn from six months ago:

I tried to watch the reunion, but Bananas' hypocritical self-righteousness is so over the top as to be unbelievable. Then again, he might be doing it strategically to try to get paired up with Sarah in the next Rivals challenge.

Bananas playing the long game. He's so past the rest of the cast he's planning for future seasons.

I have an issue with this. If you can clearly hear a mic'd up person bawling their eyes out, points should be awarded for crying points even if the cameramen don't catch it.

What if someone locks themselves in the bathroom and can clearly be heard having a breakdown? I think there's room for some discretion here. Especially since we have awarded points for oral coitus when a player just "admits" they did the act.
