I'm happy with the patch. It will at least keep my busy until 3.15 when I can start on the relic grind.

It's simple to get a good chunk of points from hunt mark bills, use them for xp unless all jobs are capped. Just prepare your buttholes.
Everyone, as soon as the patch goes live, go exchange your law tomes and flood the MB with favored mats please :D
Surely they mean Gobcoat and not Carboncoat, right?Clan mark logs obtained from hunts can be exchanged with Bertana in Idyllshire (X:5 Y:5) for the following items:
Illuminati Gobtwine / Carboncoat / Wyvern Horn
I dont know about ya'll, but I've missed the hunt drama.
They do, its around 10 and 35
being upped in 3.1 though
A's from 10 -> 15
S's from 35 -> 50
I'm so excited for this patch, everything in there looks good. I agree with Taint in that it seems like there will actually be a fair bit of content to keep me busy.
When I read this I just assumed it was stuff like Atomos in CT/WoD where each party goes their "own way" to fight them.
Yep they said teh same thing with WoD so I just naturally assumed that's what it mean. Maybe it could be different..but if I were to guess, they only will use one void ark map and shove new routes into it in 3.3 and 3.5.
Holy shit that crafting nerf. SE really done fucked up
Patch looks solid! Emperors new fist, aw yeaaah
Dat new fro looks so out of place on a white boy. -_-;
So in other words, a "nerf" to the difficulty, otherwise called a "buff."
Lol,
i210 armor for all, lmao.Completion Reward
Upon completing the Void Ark, players can also earn a separate reward once per week. This reward can be exchanged with Bertana in Idyllshire (X:5 Y:5) for items used to enhance equipment purchased with Allagan tomestones of esoterics.
* Reward eligibility is reset every Tuesday at 12:00 a.m. (PST).
Saw this coming too.
[3.0] The weekly restriction on rewards in Alexander: Gordias has been removed.
[3.0] Experience points earned in the following dungeons has been increased:
The Dusk Vigil / Sohm Al / The Aery / The Vault / The Great Gubal LibraryTime to burn everything to 60, lol.[3.0] Enemies in the following dungeons will now yield experience points when playing as a class or job at level 50 or above:
The Wanderer's Palace / Castrum Meridianum / The Praetorium / Amdapor Keep / Pharos Sirius / Copperbell Mines (Hard) / Haukke Manor (Hard) / The Lost City of Amdapor / Halatali (Hard) / Brayflox's Longstop (Hard) / Hullbreaker Isle / The Tam-Tara Deepcroft (Hard) / The Stone Vigil (Hard) / Snowcloak / Sastasha (Hard) / The Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard) / The Keeper of the Lake / The Wanderer's Palace (Hard) / Amdapor Keep (Hard)
Was this nerf really necessary? None of them were really that bad....[2.0] The parameters of enemies and mechanics in the following dungeons and trials have been adjusted:
Copperbell Mines / Sastasha / Haukke Manor / Brayflox's Longstop / The Sunken Temple of Qarn / Cutter's Cry / The Stone Vigil / Dzemael Darkhold / The Aurum Vale / Copperbell Mines (Hard) / Haukke Manor (Hard) / The Howling Eye / The Dragon's Neck / The Chrysalis
Fuck, now I can't screw with tanks any more in that dungeon.[3.0] To accommodate differences in player gear and overall dungeon difficulty, item level sync has been added to the following duties:
Duty Item Level Sync
The Great Gubal Library Item level 150
Why are mounts allowed in Idylshire? Its the smallest zone in the game... did people bitch that much about needing to summon once you exit that they actually allowed this?
The mounts being allowed there will be an issue at the vendors. Previously they were protected by the counter.... here, we can actually walk behind and into them.
Example:

Christmas vendor in WoW being blocked off by several mounts. No doubt people will do the same.
