Huh? No mounts in Idylshire was a complaint since the first moment people stepped in there. It's just annoying for a hub zone.

mildly interested in updated, but will need to see first how it pans out. and then there is FFXI, i just cant pass up on the last update putting Prishe, Lilisette, Arciela, Lion and Aphmau with all the other heroes together against the Darkness in Reisen Island, which got me far more excited!!!
Because the items were moved from being a boss-drop to a chest-drop, they'll become obtainable when doing unsync stuff. Item drops are disabled in unsync mode, chest drops are not.
[2.0] Items that dropped directly from boss enemies will now drop from treasure boxes in the following duties:
The Bowl of Embers (Extreme) / The Howling Eye (Extreme) / The Navel (Extreme) / Thornmarch (Extreme) / The Whorleater (Extreme) / The Striking Tree (Extreme) / Akh Afah Amphitheatre (Extreme)
So did they forget about being able to give your retainers a job? Was the 5-6 month patch cycle not long enough for them to implement this feature?
Lmao, people are shouting in Idyllshire for multiple hunt LS's already. Dis gun get gud on Tuesday. :X
http://i389.photobucket.com/albums/o...pscgqwgjem.png[2.0] Players will now be able to use glamours for equipment that occupies multiple slots.
FUCK YEAH!!!!
Haha same here...first thing I'm going to do when I log on. Glad I never wasted time to farm odin.
As far as everything else:
lolPLD
Screw hunts
The MSQ quest titles scare me a bit...don't think we're getting what I personally want
Verminion looks complicated at first glance
Excited for skynamis
QoL stuff is decent
There is a high chance that Idyllshire itself is going to undergo changes like Revenant's Toll did so the vendors might end up with their own tents/kiosks. Besides, targeting a npc isn't an issue for keyboard or controller but mouse is fucked if a player with a mount covers the npc.
Does this mean no more penalty for doubling up on one job for the LB now?Dungeons and trials requiring a full party to register via the Duty Finder:
The Limit Break Gauge will fill more slowly than before for parties with three or more members of the same role. Class/job roles are as follows:
Tank: Gladiator/Marauder/Paladin/Warrior/Dark Knight
Melee DPS: Pugilist/Lancer/Rogue/Monk/Dragoon/Ninja
Ranged DPS: Archer/Thaumaturge/Arcanist/Bard/Black Mage/Summoner/Machinist
Healer: Conjurer/White Mage/Scholar/Astrologian
LB limitations in general are stupid, it discourages flexible role setups and single-tanking.
Probably a fix for shit like Doom Spike which won't hit its target at max range.[2.0] Adjustments have been made to reduce the probability of targets being determined as outside of the area of effect of abilities used in certain situations.
SO HOW ABOUT THAT HOTBAR SPACE SOLUTION?
And the API. But we all know nothing actually difficult to make is coming.
http://boollette.free.fr/images/kof/gifs/iori_laugh.gif[2.0] In an effort to curb RMT activities, the number of friend requests players can send per day (Earth time) will be limited to 5.
I intepret this to mean no more half-complete GCDs snapping to "target out of range" because of server-client latency.[2.0] Adjustments have been made to reduce the probability of targets being determined as outside of the area of effect of abilities used in certain situations.
If they were able to treat Mudra lag, they could apply the same technique for similar issues.
I am like 90% sure it'll just deal with every single AoE ability having a longer castable range than the actual range. Every targetted AoE like Overpower, Dark Passenger and Doom Spike all can be cast on a target actually out of range, thus completely missing. I would love for it to be an LoS fix though, I'd suck a dick for it to include hitting moving mobs whilst chasing them too.
