Thread: Patch 3.1 Notes (Preliminary)    

The extremes being in DF will do what they've always done - allow people to learn some mechanics before they put together their own party finder. Occasionally you'll actually get a win but not often.

It'll be like how Shiva EX was, 25% echo -> cheese through it eventually.

Can't wait for Ravana Ex in DF simply because people will never get Prey, Double Prey or even Quadrants correct.

Unless it's a typo the patch notes definitely say "Carbontwine", not Illuminati Gobtwine. Looks to me like you can only do accessories at first.

There's parts of the English notes in French so I'm leaning towards typo personally.

(And furthermore, the French notes say you can obtain something like "reinforcement Bluehand fiber" and "solidifying Bluehand agent" Bluehand being the name for the Illuminati in other languages, so I'm expecting that yes you can get Illuminati Gobtwine [you notice their logo in the Hinterlands is literally a blue hand and goblin npcs in FATEs refer to them as such by the Bigwest Shortstop])

Went through German and Japanese while I was at it. I can't read either language but both items in German have the prefix "Gob" and Japanese has some sort of "bluehand reinforcing fiber" as well, so again yes, Gobtwine will be a thing.

edit: mfw it definitely says gobtwine in English anyways LOL but the "carboncoat" part is definitely a mistake; there's usually a good few in the prelim notes lol

Satasha does have a few problems though, from the opposite point of view, I can see the following being adjusted:

Scorp: The poison is either cast less often or removed completely
Captain Madison: When it first came out, people wiped to it a lot because of the shooting move where the damage is increased per shot. Maybe less damage to knock him out of it?
Kraken: Reduced HP

It's not Sastasha (Hard) per the English notes.

The list has both Haukke Manor and Haukke Manor (Hard), same for Copperbell. So it's not automatically implied to be both or anything (and Brayflox/Vigil/Qarn exist on the list w/o Hard etc).

edit: French and German also have Sastasha normal, not Hard listed but I don't think JP has any Sastasha listed (and they all confirm it being a nerf lol)

Yeah they patched it when idiots started posting the "work around" on the official forum. Literally came in a hotfix/midway update shortly after. So if there's any other ways, it's not the usual one.

Yeah, they patched that forever ago, like 2.1.

It seems they are going to add functionality for the PS4 controller..without the touchpad.

I'd rather stick to the unoffical drivers for my DS3, thankee ^^ but for the not tech savvy that might be useful.
