    Alright, instead of taking actual combinations, I guess we need to start figuring out what kinds of augments are available and where the caps are for each. I wonder if it's still possible to hit the "cap" for all three types of stones, just that it's more likely with a specific? I dunno, we'll have to wait and see if a +40 MAB Taupe augment comes out.

    Well I was asking because what if it was really pet and master and the order got all messed up. Just a theory but you know SE.... just seems odd since a single augment of 1 type is making a lot of these BiS getting it 2 or maybe 3 times would be insane. Another thought is it can do multiple rolls of anything including a stat already gotten but there is an overall augment cap based on stone. So like for mab whether you do it with 1 or 3 different mab augments the max will still be 40?

    I think rolls can miss. Sometimes I end up with only 1 augment, sometimes with a low value. Maybe mab/macc is +35 on non pell stones? Might be worth writing an addon to automatically upload augments somewhere. Doing it manually sucks.

    Confirming the current theory for Valorous:

    Pellucid = acc/attack can cap at 38(probably 40) instead of 30 with others.
    Fern = special augment like ws dmg/stp/DA caps higher. Example: ws dmg when using fern caps at 5% instead of 3% with others. Caps I've seen: DT- 3%, STP +8, SC dmg +6%, DA +5, Enmity +5, Crit. dmg +4%.
    Taupe = stats cap at 15(or more?) instead of 10 with the others.

    They were with Fern Familiar path. Reposting from FFXIAH:

    Nether Blast (naked): 1145
    Nether Blast (wearing only Merlinic): 1507
    Nether Blast (waring only NQ Apogee A): 1437

    With 20/20 Magic Damage JP (+100), 19/20 BP Damage JP (+57), MAB +40 from Diabolos's BLM levels, MAB +23 from first 3 Gifts, MAB +10 from merits, MAB +20 from base Merlinic, MAB +21 from "first" augment, MAB +3 from "second" augment, and BP Damage +5% from base Merlinic that gives
    (((99+2)*5)+100+57))*2.17*1.05 = 1508.367

    If the "first" augment was for the master and not the pet, that would give us
    (((99+2)*5)+100+57))*1.96*1.05 = 1362.396

    If the "second" augment was for the master and not the pet, that would give us
    (((99+2)*5)+100+57))*2.14*1.05 = 1487.514


    I'm leaning towards "it rolls twice and is supposed to combine the 2 rolls, but didn't for some reason."

    Yeah I should probably just record highest values. Will start doing that for each now.

    Can you keep track of which stones you got highest on each, btw? I want to see if stone is just favoring a section or if it actually increases possible cap.

    Yeah, you'll generally see a loot of dual-augs with identical values on the pet side of Valorous; Atk/Ratk, Acc/Racc, DA/Crit Rate (though there's a separate roll for JUST DA as I've gotten it alone but never Crit alone). Get some nice combos in there. The Regain isn't all that special sadly, being only 20/tick; it'd take 50 ticks, or 2:30 to get a total of 1 WS. Still, every bit helps, I suppose.

    Edit: @JohnB - We don't really have any weapon data yet.

    From what I'm seeing with Herculean, the "trait" values (like Triple Attack, WSD, etc) are the same values as they appear on Alluvion armor, but with a Fern Stone, those caps go up by 2 for the most part (a few oddballs like Waltz Potency seem to go higher).

    Seen Accuracy and Attack as high as 35 on Taupe and Fern, but I haven't used many Pellucids.

    Best I've gotten on Merlinic Crackows is Mnd+9, Macc +3, MAB+28, Magic Burst Damage +9%, using a Pellucid stone. Other augs I've seen are fast cast up to +7, magic crit dmg +8%, conserve mp up to +6, occult acumen up to +8, and magic damage up to +11. Saw stat values up to 15 using taupe, and also saw str and dex augs despite magic path, but were less common. More common than I would have expected though.
