Hate this time of year when pretty much nothing airs. Even Naruto had the week off. -.-

Yeah.. this week's One Piece was the new davy-back fight special... meh! At least RWBY had a new episode. I used most of the time to catch up on some series (Noragami, Hibike Euphonium, Seraph of the End, Death Parade, more Gintama).

Looks like Crunchyroll is starting to queue the winter simulcasts now - Active Raid starts up tomorrow morning.

I appreciate the link. My initial reaction to this season was incredibly 'meh', but the Random Curiosity preview made at least a couple shows look like they'd be worth a look

I actually managed to enjoy this despite not liking the MC most of the time.the twist at the end doesn't look all that promising. Hope it turns out alright. especially this is an ongoing manga series and we either will get an anime original ending or some weird stop point.

Active Raid Ep1

Pretty generic so far. Had a bit of Psycho Pass vibe (in terms of police regulation, etc) but seemed more lighthearted. Gonna give it a couple more eps.

Caught a couple first episodes of new shows. So far... not looking good lol

Prince of Stride basically is just trying to cash in on the recent sports anime hype. The catch though is that it's just all sorts of mediocre tropes mixed with forced drama tossed together with a made up sport (basically relay running mixed with parkour). I doubt I'll watch another episode as it doesn't hold a hair to other great recent sports animes like Haikyuu, YowaPedal, Chihayafuru (does that even count?), Daiya no Ace, etc, etc.

Second show I watched was Haruchika which I kind of remembered reading about in the previews and remember being like "I won't like this". But I forgot why exactly, so I watched the first episode. Again, really kind of boring and was a show that's sort of a mix between Hibike Euphonium and Hyouka. And while those those shows focused on Concert Band music and Mystery respectively, this one is trying to do both. Oh, and at the end you realize there's a love triangle between a male teacher and a male and female student who both love that male teacher. Don't think I'll watch another episode.

Annnnd yeah, that's the only new stuff I've watched so far.

Still Japan related but not Anime related, the first part of the Gaki no Tsukai 2015/16 No Laughing Batsu game got released today. Downloading now and full of much excite :D. Getting released in half an hour chunks, so if there's 1 release per week, it'll be like getting an episode of a show per week, and I'm okay with that

I agree. I liked the overall tone. Goofy and not all that serious but good animation. I look forward to when the fights get good.

Phantasy Star Online 2 Ep1

I expected this was going to be a Phantasy Star Online story, not an infomercial about students playing the game.

Another great episode. really laughed at Peridot pushing Greg from the rooftop on the barn. I hope it won't be too long before new episodes come back even if it weekly.
