Trouble is brewing in Saint Endalim's Scholasticate, and today's preview offers a glimpse at a new series of quests taking place in the principal seminary of the Holy See.

The Hellsguard are a clan of Roegadyn with body and mind tempered by the unforgiving heat of the volcanic regions they inhabit.

As they hail from the volcanoes of Abalathia's Spine, they have no real city to call their own

your image isn't loading. but the quote kinda makes it sound like we should be seeing a much higher distribution of hellsguard than we have been. since, yknow, the region for Sea of Clouds and Azys Lla is Abalathia's Spine.

or maybe they've all just been background un-targetable NPCs thus far. can't say as i recall seeing any in quests lately.

We're not in Abalathia's Spine; we're above it. That said, Abalathia's Spine is not synonymous with Ishgard and yeah we're just in the floating islands above the mountain range, not in the mountain range itself.

Right, but that's the mountain range like right north of Ishgard. When you look out from Coerthas, you're looking at Abalathia's Spine.
