I've seen plenty of combos/setups that rip through them, and that's before the new equipment. I should go back and finish this up, but other things to do; would have been good to have it in the beginning though.

DLC Finally Announced, Free Add-On Coming August 9th

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe reveals new details about the content of the upcoming Adventure Pack for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. This first DLC will be free to download and will be released 9th August. As outlined in the Season Pass, further DLCs will follow.

The Adventure Pack provides new challenges for experienced players. It adds additional floors to the Faraway Forest which upon clearing, will reward players with new costumes for Evan and other characters. Players will also be able to challenge themselves against even stronger new bosses; Blackhart and Zeta. Additional quests will be unlocked after completing the story and unique rewards can be acquired.

The second DLC is coming this winter, featuring a new puzzling dungeon. Players will face a series of difficult challenges and powerful enemies while trying to reach for the deepest floors with great rewards awaiting those that do!

A third DLC is planned for early next year with new exciting content and game features, as well as a whole new story expansion. Further details will be shared soon.

Paid DLC 1 - The Lair of the Lost Lord

The Lair of the Lost Lord DLC will include a new labyrinth dungeon in the Ruby Ruins, a new Material Method system that introduces a new fighting style to the game’s combat, as well as new weapons and quests that provide additional backstories of the main characters.

Labyrinth

This new dungeon in the Ruby Ruins is ruled by the Prince of Wraiths who plans on destroying Evermore, Evan’s newly created kingdom. Evan and his friends must step into this mysterious dungeon and stop the Prince of Wraiths before his kingdom is destroyed.

Material Method system

The new Material Method system enhances the player’s battle style. It seems to be obtained from memories of people Evan meets through his journey. What sorts of changes can the Material Method include? Stay tuned for more information.

New quests and items

More than 80 new weapons and armor will be added into the game while new quests will help provide back stories to Evan’s friends.

Also, they showed Evan with a sword that had over 900 attack. Is that new? o_O

I forgot if there's one more or two more DLC's coming, so having looked it up, apparently there's only 1 more and it's slated for early 2019. And given KH3 is coming out in late January, I think I might actually just hold off until it's all released and maybe even on sale and get it down the road.

Paid DLC 2 - The Tale of a Timeless Tome - March 19, 2019

The new DLC episode for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, The Tale of a Timeless Tome, will be available on March 19, 2019 for PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and PC via Steam. The new episode will include new memories of Evan’s friends, more fighting methods, new locations, and characters.

Evan and his friends hear a rumor about a mysterious rabbit dressed in a tuxedo that is being seen in people’s dreams. Evan decides to investigate by staying at the Goldpaw Inn. When Evan falls asleep, he finds himself in a dream world and encounters the rabbit who tells them he is the conductor. Who is this off character and what is his objective?

Along with new story elements players will be able to discover new Methods to help customize their style of battle. One of the new methods, “Wizard’s Companion” may sound familiar to Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch players. Find out what Evan and his friends can do with these new Methods!

The Solosseum Slog is a new battle arena that challenges players against strong enemies. Winning will net players new items as a reward!
