You're going into a store? Better line up at 5am or earlier for an 8am opening.

Even online, checking 2-3 different sources you'll still only have a slight chance.

It was these. But they only make them in Size 9 for mens and that's probably way too big. But the women's version looks like shit in comparison. Maybe the blue ones.... Hmmm.
yes i have those! My life is so dope

    Spoiler: show

I'd never go to an in-store release. like Toki said you need to line up so early, like black friday early for some shoes, like pay a homeless person to stand in line early.

All my local stores do raffles which you enter during the week before release and then they will contact you if you win and you come in and pick up your shoes between like 8am and 6pm and try to not to get robbed on the way back to your car. i enter all the raffles and never win.

Usually i just try to cop online and then lose to bots. I was adding a pair of the public school jordan 12s to my cart the second they went available the other day and still didnt get them because it is so real in these internet streets. motherfuckers claiming my jordans like fafnir.

    YES! Hahahah.

The other shitty thing about in-store is that they generally have more limited stock; trying to get the right size at a local store is going to be much more difficult than a larger online retailer.

WISH ATL and Premier (in Michigan) are good for SB quickstrikes if you're ever interested in them. They'll have them listed on their site if they're going to get stock. WISH takes phone orders at 1pm, Premier is all online.

Those Yeezys are $350? You fuckers are crazy paying that for those ugly things.

Anyone looking at the new J-Rod's that are released Saturday?

Yo sneakerheads, shoe aficionados, I got a rando question.

I wear down the heels of my shoes in record time, which is usually why I'm hesitant to drop insane bales of money on shoes. Lots of walking kills them every time. Are heelguards really my only option? I'm thinking about switching from rubber ones to metal taps but who wants to sound like a cowboy everywhere.

You can buy a very nice pair of leather shoes or boots and have them reshod from time to time. It's pricey but that's what it is.

I don't wear my heels very fast due to my gait but I'm sure others have the same issue.

I wear out the heels quickly as well, but maybe not as bad as you do? I've been wearing these shoes for well over a year and just got a small hole in the heel this week. Need to figure a new pair to get while I wear a back up in the mean time.

EDIT: Didn't answer anything, got distracted. I usually just pick up a new pair of shoes. I don't wear the nice ones enough to wear the heel out so that's not an issue. Usually by the time I've got them worn down it's time to replace them anyway.
