I ended up with the Keen Targhee highs. A little less insulation than I planned, but I liked the look and fit. Half size smaller than my sneakers, half size larger than my Redwings.

Those are nice. Any chance you tried the LL Beans on? I'm looking for water proof boots with the sheep wool visible it's pretty much beans or UGGs. Just something with traction I can wear in NJ weather. I.e. cold but not below 0, wet and snow usually 2 inches sometimes 2 feet sometimes 6.
