Poison fights Dudley well standing up if you know how to take advantage of her fireball game. Her fireballs are slow and her recovery is so good that you can use them to control space way better than anyone on the cast save maybe Guile.

The trick is to stay 2-5 character lengths away and spam light fireballs, and just follow them to Dudley to either punish his duck with a poke, or to just poke safely behind them. Use your long as fuck low forward into whatever special and there you have it, the MU is yours.

That shit is 6-4 Poison, for free.

thats what i do, but at some point i get some hard smack into my face or a knockdown and its hasta-la-vista baby, because i find myself in the corner with poison. I have to note i use U2 in this matchup and that gives a bit of a breathing room when hiting the corner, due to psychological hesiation of the oponnent. If he eats a U2 its game over, so they use more spacing on my poison which gives a bit of room. I just fucking hate fighting dud on poison because no matter how patient i play at some point he is just right in my face and my lifelead of 50% melts down to shit ¬.¬
if dud has U1 then my fireball game is usually gone the second his ultra meter fills up.
Poison has very good recovery on her fierce fireball, but she trades recovery for start up depending on the fireball. seriously HP fireball takes fucking ages to go off
