Color me surprised. CNN didn't actually fuck up something.
The husband of the ex senator @59ish minutes oh my fucking god. Eve Barack was struggling to wrap his mind around his thoughts of a government conspiracy to get all the guns.
I'm really going to miss Obama.
Same. Really shows a measure of an intelligent man who has to deal with complete idiots day in and day out, both politicians and citizens.
This is my new favorite shutdown.Originally Posted by Obama, responding to lady's implication that having a gun makes her safer
New requirements for NFA purchases. Trusts/corporations are now required to submit fingerprints and photos, but individuals are no longer required to ask a CLEO to sign-off on their application, just notify them. Most people formed trusts to bypass the CLEO sign-off as some would not sign, so that makes it more difficult for them but easier for individuals. Did not expect to see looser restrictions in these times.

I really have no clue whether to put this in the pot thread, or here. So I chose here.
How do states handle medical permits when it comes to shooting ranges? My wife wants to join me in NH one time, but she's a medical user for PTSD. On the forms, they have you sign they say that your signature says that you're not under the influence of, or have drugs in your system. I've heard that having a medical permit can interfere with getting a gun license because it proves that you're using a Schedule 1 drug consistently, and want to prevent massive legal trouble due to her falling into a grey area nationally.
Why not just not smoke that morning, or lie on the form?
She's fine doing either of those, I just didn't know whether them running the form and seeing the medical permit would instant start shit for her.
No one knows if she doesn't say anything or smell like anything. I've never been submitted to a background check to use a range, and even if she were buying a gun idk that anything would show up. And if something DID show up on the background check, the shop sees nothing other than proceed, delay, or deny.
The gun range itself is doing CYA paperwork so they can claim plausible deniability. If she says no and doesn't smell of skunk then there's no reason for a delay/deny from a 4473. Or to use a gun range which is outlandish and would recommend a different range.
Also a green card doesn't show up on a NICS check (or at least cards in Oregon never have otherwise 1/2 the state would be flagged).
More than half...
Semi-automatic rifles banned in Massachusetts
Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healy has decided the sand in her vagina has reached critical levels and has unilaterally banned semiautomatic rifles in the state of Massachusetts. Today is literally the last day you can buy an AR-15, AK-47, or any rifle that uses an operating system similar to either of those rifles.
That's some vagina sand that I can get behind
A step in the right direction, but ultimately not worth much. It's handguns that cause most deaths.
"We need to ban flash suppressors, folding stocks, and pistol grips because they make the gun far more deadly!"
"Flash suppressors, folding stocks, and pistol grips do nothing to limit the lethality of the weapon!"
Ain't that some shit.
Somehow I don't see something that ridiculously broad sticking
i went to a range about a month ago... i was HIGH AS BALLS on some edibles. same blurb i almost turned to my friends like"i cant shoot guys im high" then i remembered LOL NO ONE CAN TELL~ your wife will be fine.
rohto eye drops and being an adult do more then anything else.
Yeah, I could absolutely see that stick in MA. When I moved into military housing on base I had to register my airsoft rifle and compound bow with the housing office because of whatever bizarro rules they have to comply with in regards to "firearms" here.
