I must confess, I used Advantaliate for Elite Carbuncle in last DU because when I looked at my RW list 4 were Advance... Pretty sure a few of the people on my list changed their RW to that recently

I'd pull from Beginner if SG was featured instead of Healer. It's not, so Rinoa's weapon isn't worth it to me as a guaranteed pick. I'd rather use Edward than Wakka, so his relic is useless too.

tbh i like this idea a lot more. im not a big fan of the job system simply because it will invalidate the use of a lot of characters. one could toss it on the flipside and say that it will make a lot more characters more viable, which I can also see, but this wont fix poor stats.

We don't have all the details yet but it seems to be a completely separate system. Let's not forget that ability access isn't the only factor though, giving Black Magic 5 to Cloud won't make him a viable caster because he can't use rods anyway and his magic stat is poor.

Or Support on a character that doesm't have it for breakdowns; open up a slot for something that does more damage than a support. A full BLM party for example and add mental breakdown for extra damage. And then give bard to another for aoe magic boost.
