Just saw it. Really enjoyed it. I'd say the first one is still better, but this isn't bad at all. Great jump scares and pretty creepy scenes. A few scenes were too CGI heavy, which took away from the movie for me. The soundtrack really helps add to the overall atmosphere of it too. Highly recommend if you liked the first Conjuring.

Just saw it tonight. Overall I liked it, and the jump scares were pretty good. Some cringe worthy acting but I'd give the movie a 7.5/10.

First one wasnt all that either, imo. I like giving sequels a chance cause often they fix the mistakes of the first, but I can't think of a single scary movie that I've enjoyed where the above didn't happen.

As far as modern horror films go, the first film was way above the rest. I agree this one is predictable, but damn y'all fuckers are picky.

Saw this the other day, I thought it was pretty good. People in theaters can really ruin a movie sometimes... had these fat assholes laughing randomly when there was nothing funny, and some mexican couple yapping in Spanish during the movie.

Went saw it on the weekend... and 2 guys setting up cameras and some crazy set up that clips to the arms of the movie chairs to hold the camera up and steady lol.

Definitely worth the watch but now I kind of agree with Sal...

not because I have some morbid thought you have to kill people in horror but fuck the last 30 minutes of the movie was death flag city then last minute oh the future can be changed if you believe it crap

As a follow-up to this (lol) ... we never did get to go see it in the theater but I got a copy for us this past weekend. My wife insisted we let my kid watch it, and of course, she was up three times overnight crying that she thought she saw someone in her room.
